Remmi ("we", "us", "our") is an interview prep coach accessed via WhatsApp. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the Service: Create interview prep plans, generate practice questions, score answers, send drills, and deliver a morning cheat sheet.
- To improve the Service: We may analyze aggregate, anonymized usage patterns. We do not use individual content for advertising.
- To process payments: Your email and payment details are shared with LemonSqueezy solely for checkout and subscription management.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Remmi:
- WhatsApp / Meta: Message delivery. Subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase: Database hosting (encrypted at rest). Data may be stored in the EU or US depending on region.
- Anthropic and OpenAI: AI processing for coaching, evaluation, and semantic search. Messages are processed but not stored or used for training.
- LemonSqueezy: Payment processing. Subject to LemonSqueezy's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel: Application hosting. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
5. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- We do not show you advertisements.
- We do not share your data with other users.
- We do not track you across other websites or apps.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest.
- Browser links use random tokens, not phone-number hashes.
- Database access is restricted to authorized services only.
- Payment information is handled entirely by LemonSqueezy - we never see your card details.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of all your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data.
- Objection: Object to processing of your data for specific purposes.

8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove all your personal data, interview plans, practice history, and conversation history within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregate data may be retained for analytics purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
Remmi is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child under 16 has used the Service, contact us and we will delete their data immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via WhatsApp. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
